South Korea’s KISCO Will Stop Producing Forged Products, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Korea Iron and Steel Company (KISCO), one of the biggest rebar makers in South Korea, will stop producing forged products on May 31 due to the continuous deficit in the sales of forged products business. KISCO will sell the production equipment in the forging plant of the Changwon plant, including 2,500-ton and 10,000-ton forging presses and an associated 70-ton electric arc furnace.
